Grabenwerkstatt was founded in 2014 by Franz Hofbauer and Michael Linke. Together they cultivate 2 hectares with biodynamic principles, working by hand and tending each vine one by one. They treat the soils with biodynamic preparation and teas, and use as little sulphur and copper as they can. All of their wines are spontaneously fermented and remain on their lees in steel tanks until they have found their natural balance.
