Bressan Grigio in Grigio 2014
Fulvio Bressan: Prominent figure in the Northern Italian Natural winemaking scene definitely knows how to make wines with the "wow" factor. This Pinot Grigio is no exception and showcases the full potential of this interesting grape varietal. The Pinot Grigio must is vinified in stainless steel containers and left to refine for at least 12 months plus few years aging in old wild cherry barrels.
On the nose it is fruity, floral, with dry hay, walnut husk, mineral hints and toasted almonds. On the palate it is full-bodied, fine and with a slight tannin that warms.
A trip into pleasure with no boundaries.
If you feel adventurous try it with food! we recommend it with fresh and sour dishes ( a Burrata, bitter leaves & Blood orange salad perhaps?) and fatty meat & fish cuts like trout and all sorts of pork.
