Pierre Gerbais

The estate was established in 1930, in the southern part of the Champagne region known as the Cote de Bar. Aurelian Gerbais runs the farm and has farmed organically since 1996. The 18 hectares of vines are all farmed by hand, and interestingly grow 4 hectares of the unusual (for the region) Pinot Blanc, alongside the more classic varieties of chardonnay and pinot noir.
