A deceiving light bodied red (bordering Rose) from the Gard – a region known for its powerful spicy roses and worlds apart from the styles found in Provence. A blend of 40% Grenache and 40% Cinsault from a ninety-year-old vineyard planted over 'Les Lauzes' – a terroir of large, flat limestone pebbles that sits above the limestone bedrock beneath.
Light on the eye but packed with structure, delicious red fruits and power. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

In 2016 after seven years working as the head sommelier of Le Chateaubriand in Paris, Sébastien Châtillon moved to Vallabrix in the Gard and started making wine.
Seb fell in love with the Gard because within a relatively small area, you find an incredibly diverse number of grapes, climates and soils. He has recently purchased his own vineyard, a three hectare parcel of Grenache, Syrah and Sauvignon amongst the garrigue above the village of Vallabrix, which supplements the grapes he harvests from the vineyards of trusted friends. He takes a very low interventionist approach, and ages wines in various vessels and bottles unfiltered with no additions.
