Champagne Reserve NV
The Réserve is based on a single vintage, a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Blanc from a vineyard on Kimmeridgean marls. The average age of the vines is 30 years old, fruit is hand-harvested and the varieties are vinified separately. The results are superb, delicious and dangerously drinkable.
Wine Profile: A fine grower champagne which is rich, toasty, has hints of brioche, orchard fruits with a fantastic length and a fresh acidity to tidy everything up.

The estate was established in 1930, in the southern part of the Champagne region known as the Cote de Bar. Aurelian Gerbais runs the farm and has farmed organically since 1996. The 18 hectares of vines are all farmed by hand, and interestingly grow 4 hectares of the unusual (for the region) Pinot Blanc, alongside the more classic varieties of chardonnay and pinot noir.
