Winemaker, Fabrizio Iuli, found an abandoned vineyard in the hills of the beautiful Monferrato planted with 30-year-old Barbera vines and brought them back to life. The idea was to make a fresh and fairly natural Barbera.
An elegant yet juicy style of Barbera, showing attractive cherry and blueberry notes plus an impressive finish. Super food friendly and perfect for aged cheeses and fatty meats.

A collaboration between Fabrizio Iuli and wine importer, Les Caves de Pyrene, located in hilly Monferrato region of Piedmont. The grapes for this Barbera come from the lieux-dit “La Tina”, have been in Fabrizio’s family for a long time. The vines are over 30 years old, and had been forgotten about for 15 years before Fabrizio took them back.
