The story of this wines starts on a cold, dark night in April 2016: A Hard and unforgiving frost hits Athénaïs’ s vines destroying her entire crop for the year. At that point instead of pulling the vintage release as other winemakers in Chablis did, Athénaïs pops in her car and makes her way to sunny South of France in research of healthy grapes grown by trusted friends winemakers. In the South she falls head over heels for Domaine Milan’s Vermentino grapes (Domaine Milan is another outstanding producer we regularly stock in store!) and takes some back with her.

Farming: Organic

Vegan? : Yes

The result is nothing short than mesmerising: Ripe yellow apple and minerality. Savoury and fruit. Power and Freshness. A wine that needs some decanting to reveal all its charm and weight but definitely worth the wait.

The perfect balance between Mediterranean sun and Chablis elegance
