Madlieri Vardisperi Rkatsiteli Kisi 2020

Hailing from Kakheti, Georgia's premium wine region,  Pheasant’s Tears is arguably the best known producer in the country, one of that helped initiating the recent spark of international interest in the country's rich history and traditional winemaking.

The Madlieri is made from a near extinct Georgian pink-skinned grape variety (a clone of the better known Rkatsiteli) that looks like an hybrid between orange and red.

Wine Profile: The palate is definitely closer to what we would expect from a Georgian orange wine featuring present fine tannins, dried stone fruits, fresh red fruits and floral notes.
