From the deep south Rhone (entering Provence) this is 100% Syrah. Upon first opening it can be a little shy, but with air its starts to reveal its serious and meaty core with wisps of smoke and garrigue.

Matthieu started his organically farmed estate in 2006, on soils of clay and iron across 5 hectares. His vines are between 45-80 years old which he tends with a low intervention approach including hand harvesting, and adding a small amount of sulphur at bottling.
